Microblading Eyebrows

If your hair is your crowning glory, your eyebrows are the center stage of your face. And will certainly enhance your beauty.

Do you know that eyebrows have the power to totally alter the look of the face? Well, you’ve probably tried styling them, and your face seems to change its look each time you do.  And when you’ve found that perfect shape and arch for your eyebrows, you’re having a hard time doing that look the next day.

It gets too tiring and also quite expensive to use different make-up for your eyebrows like a shading tattoo pen, a brow artist pencil, brow cream, etc. that is not sweating and water-resistant. Or even if it is, redoing them each day is stressful!

If you have this kind of experience, and you want to change it, then, semi-permanent makeup is best for you.

What is a Microblading?

Microblading uses a small blade to implant pigment into the skin creating realistic hair strokes or what is more like micropigmentation but quite different.  Shading can be done between the strokes to create dimension and more fullness.  This is a total leap from traditional brow tattooing, which makes the brows look unnatural.

How often do you need to get your eyebrows microbladed?

Microblading will have different effects on different skin types. Thus, other people may have micro-bladed eyebrows lasting from 1 to three years after the touch-up four weeks after the initial session.

What is the difference between ombre brows and microblading?

These two semi permanent makeup styling techniques for your eyebrow are different in the way the pigment is deposited into the skin.  Ombre brows are done using a machine, and the ombre powder technique is less invasive than microblading.

While microblading uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, where the pigment is deposited.

Yes, these techniques are semi-permanent.  Unlike the traditional tattoo that lasts for as long as you are but with the colors fading in time.

Does microblading ruin your natural eyebrows?

Microblading doesn’t affect the growth of your eyebrows in any way.  Although, you’ll be needing to reshape your brows to match the microbladed part.

What happens during a microblading appointment?

Scheduling your appointment

Generally, an appointment is scheduled for three hours.  The first half of it is the consultation, and the second half is the actual procedure itself.  Yes, it’s that fast.

Making the outline

First, we shall draw the eyebrow shape, color, and lift that you think is best for you, and we’ll give you solicited advice as well.

Painless procedure

Then, a combination of topical anesthetic creams with 5% Lidocaine is used for numbing before and throughout the procedure for maximum comfort. You will feel nothing!

Featherlike strokes

So, after making sure you feel comfortable, the artist will now start the procedure by creating tiny superficial cuts, in and along the brow, creating hairlike wounds where the pigment will be deposited over the arches seeping into them.

Review

After this procedure, we shall review the after-care before instructions, answer your questions if you have any more, and we may give you additional time to ensure you are pleased with your microbladed brows.

What is the healing process?

The healing process is extremely important and must be followed precisely.

Day 1:

You will leave with a cream barrier layer on your freshly Microbladed brows. Lightly dab off any fluid coming from the brows if needed with a cotton square.

3 Hours Post Appointment: GENTLY cleanse brows with a saturated Witch Hazel pad or a mild antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Weeping fluids (lymph) may occur during the first 24 hours. Be sure to gently blot brow areas with a cotton square to remove any buildup.

Day 2-14:

Repeat CLEANSING & MOISTURIZING STEP from day 1 morning & night, but start applying a THIN layer of ointment layer 2-3 times between cleansing. Ointment needs to be applied to DRY brows. If you can see the ointment you have applied TOO much.
